I've stopped in to Cissi's on various occasions: once for coffee, another time to buy wine, another time for an afternoon snack. Every single time the staff has been very knowledgeable about the products and always willing to provide service.

Wonderful market with great combo of prepared foods + groceries. Very friendly and helpful. Was greeted immediately and helped to select from high-end black teas, which is what I was looking for. Great place to shop for those special ingredients to complete a gourmet (but soulful) kitchen.

Cissi's until recently had a fabulous selection of made-to-order sandwiches and lot of prepared foods available for takeout. Apparently not enough people knew and the service was too slow because they have now scrapped the whole thing. Seems Cissi's is on track to close their kitchen because the choices are now very pedestrian and limited. It's now your basic pick a meat, cheese, bread deli sandwich place and really there are much better choices including Jo's right down the street (great original sandwiches) and Thundercloud and Which wich not too far away.
Pros: Great staff, good parking
Cons: Selection is not very good and prices on some items are rather high

Too Expensive Variety - Bad Out dated products Does not belong in the area. I love the area and always frequent the establishments. As far as this Market ..... don't bother.
Pros: NONE - only the area is nice. They should make room for a better establishment.
Cons: The whole concept.
