Dr. Luo really cares about his patients!. The other day, I bent over trying to get something and felt a sharp pain in the center of my lower back (Yes, I'm getting old!). Not knowing what to do, I followed my good friend's advice and visited Dr. Luo's office.

He spent a long time listening to my story--where and how it happened, my general physical conditions, medical history, etc. etc. He was not only extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but also personable and kind.

I feel the patient-centered communication helps build trust between doctor and patient. To me, it is a key factor in choosing a doctor.

After just one session, my back pain was almost gone, and all pain disappeared in several days. I would definitely go back. Thank you!…

Kevin Rocks!. I was seeking alternatives to having my gallbladder removed due to the excruciating pain my gallstones were causing. My insurance company, will not, cover any alternative medicine so my options were limited, economically.

Walking into Kevin's place, I was immediately put at ease. He asked many questions, listened attentively, and had an honest disposition. He did not promise to cure me, he simply aimed to make me feel better and, hopefully, help me pass the stones through the use of herbal medicine, massage and accupuncture.

The jury is still out on whether or not I have stones. All I know is I felt better after seeing him. I highly recommend what he has to offer.

Thanks Kevin!. As a professional musician & pianist, I have suffered for the past 30 years with an injury to my hand known as dystonia. My fingers would involuntarily cramp up & not do their job at the keyboard. It was extremely frustrating & depressing as my livelihood consists of teaching & performing. Awesome results!. After being diagnosed close to a year ago with Rheumatoid Arthritis the effects of RA has taken it's toll. I can honestly say that getting acupuncture treatments I have relief from pain and fatigue after each treatment and have more low pain & low fatigue days due to acupuncture than I do without the treatments. Kevin is my hero!. I will tell you that Kevin is my hero. I came back from vacation with a debilitating headache. I couldn't focus, couldn't work, couldn't do anything. My doctor put me in the hospital for 4 days with absolutely no relief. This went on for 2 weeks! Still in excruciating pain and very frustrated, my husband suggested acupuncture and Kevin Luo. Extremely Pleased with Pediatric Treatments. My good friend who is studying acupuncture recommended Kevin for my 4 year old who has suffered allergies with asthma. I was curious but it is always hard to start something new. Seeing as his office is only about a 3 minute drive from my house, off of Spicewood Springs and Mesa, it is very convenient.

It took me about 6 months or so to motivate to meet with Kevin (after one asthma attack and trip to the Dell Children's ER), but was immediately pleased with him during the first visit. He is amazing with children and I could not believe that my son, aged 5 at the time of the first visit, allowed 2 needles to be administered in his legs. He went through a series of treatments in the Fall which improved his condition completely until Spring.

Of course my son is most affected by the oak pollens in the Spring, which was what caused the asthma attack last year. I started him a little later than I should have this Spring but he's doing great after over a month of treatments with Kevin. We are going every 2 weeks now. The second antidepressant pill caused a few side effects. January 2010, I started treatments at TxHarmony. I remember going into Kevin’s office and just sitting there. We talked for a long time. Great experience. Kevin was a great help to me. I suffered from hip pain for months, due to a lingering running injury . Physical therapy wasn't helping so I finally went for an alternative approach. I've never had a health professional take so much time to actually listen to my concerns the way that Kevin did. My first appointment lasted 90 minutes and at least half that time was just talking--he wanted the whole story and not just a summary, which was a new experience for me. He tried a couple of different treatments over the next couple of months and my pain decreased (considerably!) for the first time in nearly a year. I honestly don't know how it works but I don't really care.

I will absolutely go back to him with future health problems! Actually....I haven't been in awhile because my pain is under control but I miss the weekly chats. It was kind of like getting a bonus therapy session every week because Kevin was so concerned with my general well being.
