What a FANTASTIC new 'do!! I wish I could include a picture just to show you what a great job they did. Here I was, in a massive time crunch & brand new to Austin....I needed a salon that could give me a great new 'do, at a great price & that could take me in on just ONE day's notice....I thought I was doomed for sure. Let me tell you....from the very first call, to the time I walked out the door, I was treated like ROYALTY. They really listen to you, have great ideas/input to offer, give you so much personal attention & you can really tell they have such a passion for making you look your best!!! They really know their stuff! Sovay is nothing short of a PRO w/color and Erica gave me EXACTLY what I hoped for...I have NEVER had so many compliments on my hair in my entire life!!! If you're looking for a superior results @ a very reasonable price....Salon Sovay is THE place to go!

Savoy saved my life. For everyone that has had a self hair coloring job go bad, you know how horrible it is to live with it until someone can help you. Savoy was very flexible in scheduling me in. She took her time, explained all of the steps and did a wonderful job! She listened to how much time and energy I wanted to spend on my hair and cut accordingly. She provided tips on anything asked including makeup and complimentary colors to wear with my new hair color! Her techniques and products were gentle to my scalp and hair. I highly recommend this place. Savoy was wonderful!!! I feel I have a new friend.

I went to see Brooke for the 2nd time yesterday. The first time she was safe and gave me a trim. This time I came back with a picture that was much more drastic of a cut. She did a great job! She talked me through it and took her time, making sure it was perfect! The cut is great and exactly what I asked for. She is very sweet and actually listens to what you want. On top of that she has very reasonable prices! Great all the way around. My hair is thin and fine, so finding someone who can give me a hair cut I love, is like finding a needle in a haystack!

Pros: listens to customers, takes her time, good value

I had a great experience at Salon Sovay, My previous hairstylist ( in a different city) had cut my hair in a way that I would only wear a ponytail everyday. Sovay was able to fix it and give me great tips on how to achieve the same look at home. I love that !! Thank you so much. I highly recommend anyone in her salon anytime..they are very attentive and friendly.

I followed other great citysearch reviews to Sovay, and I'm thrilled that I did. After years of wearing my hair in a clip or ponytail to work at a laid-back SoCo office, I got a more formal job and didn't know what to do woth my hair. Sovay gave me some kind of magic cut that has all the flirty feminity of a Victoria's Secret model, yet seems to just fall that way with no effort from me. Suddenly it looked good un-clipped and down -- and that cut stayed looking just as good for more than two months. I just came back from my second visit to her where she did my color, too. I couldn't be more thrilled. I'm a lazy girl who doesn't want to spend a lot of effort to look great. Sovay's effort is all the effort my hair needs.

Pros: Magic haircut, looks great without my having to work hard, stays looking great for months.

Cons: Nope. None that I can think of.

I made an appointment with Sovay for a haircut and she treated me like no other stylist ever has. She is extremely personable and sweet, and she really loves what she's doing. Her salon is also really beautiful and clean but comfortable and they play really good music. She spent plenty of time on my hair and I didn't feel like I was being rushed through. She is masterful at blowouts and really spends time trying to teach you how to achieve the same style at home. You can tell that she wants you to be happy with your style. I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks!

Pros: flexible appointments, no pressure to buy products, on time, really personable staff

Throughout the past seven years I have been in Austin, I have been trying out different salons to see who does the best haircut and color for me. Hands down! Sovay is amazing. I have never seen my hair this way, I look like a movie star! I will never go back to anyone else, nor do I trust that anyone else can do color the way Sovay can. I have been recommending Sovay to everyone, and I am doing the same here by writing this review. Thank you Sovay, I appreciate you always doing your best for others!

I had a wonderful experience at Salon Sovay yesterday. I took a picture in to Erica and she was able to duplicate it exactly. She spent a lengthy amount of time making sure that everything about the cut was perfect. As she was styling it, she went through it with my step-by-step and gave me tips to use when I style it at home. She even limited herself to using the hair tools that I have at home to create my look! I am so happy with my hair. Everyone else loves it too. I highly reccomend Erica and Salon Sovay!!

I just moved to Austin and was worried about finding a stylist that would be both reasonably priced and really talented. I found both at Solon Sovay. Sovay treated my hair as if it were her own. She even let me know secrets about keeping my hair healthy with natural ingredients. She gave my hair wonderful blonde natural color, and great lift with some long layers. I have received so many compliments on my hair since she did it…I made my second appointment the other day. If you want someone that wants make sure you look fabulous, go to Sovay.

I enjoy my experience at Salon Sovay every time! My stylist, Brooke, is knowledgeable and creative - a great talent in Austin! She listens to what I would like to achieve with my hair and always creates a great look for me. Sovay and the other stylists are friendly and welcoming as well. The salon is very cute - the decor and overall environment is inviting and comfortable. I highly recommend Salon Sovay to anyone wanting a great beauty experience!
