Growing up in Houston, we ate at Fogo de Chao quite a bit, so when Estancia opened here, I had to try it. It exceeded all of my expectations. The service is prompt and always friendly- glad to respond to any request. The food is consistent and very tasty. In comparison, the salad bar is quite a bit smaller than Fogo De Chao, however it is still very good and that is really the only major difference, that and the lower price per meal. The wine selection is notable. This is a great place, I take all of my clients for business dinners and it's something everyone always enjoys. It can get busy on weekend nights, and I haven't been for lunch so I cannot comment on that, but otherwise, Estancia is an all-around wonderful place to go. The owner takes alot of pride in what he does, and that combined with his extensive knowledge of Brazilian style cooking has made this restaurant one of my regular places to go. Do plan a good amount of time though when dining here, as the presentation and process are all part of the experience. It doesn't take long to be seated, however the progress of the meal (as with that in any churrascaria) can take longer than a usual meal. Also, if you're a wine drinker be sure to check out the extensive wine list, it is an offering of wines you would expect to see as well as some surprisingly nice choices that I was not familiar with prior to dining here. If you would like to try something new, they are great at suggesting the perfect wine for your pallate.
Pros: Excellent Service, Great Wine List, Consistently good food
Cons: Meal may take longer than at a more traditional style of restaurante due to the process

I went there with my family before christmas, and I must say that I have never tasted meats as delicious as the cuts they offer here. From the chicken drumsticks seasoned to perfection to the tender and delicious filet mignon. But my truly favorite was the picanha... The salad bar was beautiful, my cousin had visited another brazilia steakhouse and told me that the salad bars are usually bigger than here, but the salad bar at Estancia was very well selected and the quality was impecable. Not to mention the wine selection, it was very nice and with prices for everyone. Great restaurant!
Pros: Service, meats and wines

I was at Estancia with my family on Saturday and we had an excellent time. The meats were excellent as usual and their pork tenderloin with parmesan cheese is magnificent. I have been there before and the managers are really good in remembering their guests. They knew how I like my meats and the wine that I drink. The Salad Bar was fresh and varied and the side dishes kept coming. Very nice place!
Pros: Great food, Great value.
Cons: Avoid saturday nights. Very crowded.

We had a company Xmas party at this restaurant. I was eager to enjoy an over the top Filet Mignon chow down. I Saw the Filet Mignon skewer twice during our 2 hours at the restaurant. I had to specifically asked for filet mignon TWICE. They should have brought that meat out as frequently as the Chicken and Sausage Skewers. I didn't even get an 8oz Filet Mignon steak out of the whole deal. Mind you the filet mignon was good, when I got it. My plate was full, but only with the Mash potatoes they provide. I would not recommend this restaurant. Sad but true

This place charged a ridiculous 26% gratuity and tried to cover it up. They even charged gratuity on tax!! They lied to us and said that the gratuity was only 20% but when we did the math is was actually around 26%. So make sure you check your tab before paying and make SURE you know how much they are charging you. I will NEVER come here again. I advise you to do the same.
Pros: The restaurant is pretty and service was fast.
Cons: incorrect tab. 26% gratuity!!

I have been here twice now and it does not disappoint. While a bit pricey for dinner, considering you are getting all you can eat, its a steal! The meats are wonderful, especially the traditional brazilian steak with garlic - it is too good. I would recommend having a light lunch on the day you are coming here for dinner so you have enough room to try all the meats and really enjoy them. The salad bar is ok - though I prefer to save my room for the main courses!
Pros: Brazilian Steak with Garlic, Service
Cons: Salad bar is nice, but not needed
