Great Job and Great Service. I did not know a good mover in Austin and M&M was suggested by a friend to move my step daughter. Boy, was I surprised at the great service. I had some bad experiences in Dallas, where I live. But this was really different. They were courteous, efficient, cost effective and on time. Just filed a claim against M&M in small claims court. Update as of May 11, 2013 I paid M&M for an 18 month storage unit, then hired movers from their company to unload my stored furniture onto a hired truck (asked them for a moving quote from Austin to the East Coast but it was way too expensive, so I hired someone else) .

This was a simple transaction - I stored my furniture at M&M for 18 months, I paid their employees to load everything from my storage unit onto a moving truck. Inexplicably, when my delivery arrived at my new address, four large pieces of furniture were missing.

This happened in October 2011, and my missing furniture still hasn't been delivered. M&M admitted their mistake, made promises to fix the situation and refunded my delivery money.

Seven months later, my missing furniture has not been retuned. I call on a weekly basis to get an update. When either of the owners Chris or April choose to call back — which is infrequently — they give excuses and claim that they are attempting to find the best solution.

So not my preference - I was really happy with my early dealings with M&M - but I've taken them to small claims court. And I'm disappointed it came to this - I'm a big fan of locally owned Austin companies and chose this one for that reason.

Great Moving Experience!. Had a move that required packing up my 4 bedroom house, moving into storage for 10 days then unpacking at my new house across town. They came on time and got right to work. They were able to pack and move all my stuff in one day. The guys were really nice and worked hard. Then the same guys moved me into my new house. Everything was in perfect condition. Only if they showed up. Had my move scheduled for 19th December (Sunday) for local move within Austin which was confirmed on phone on 13th December. As the move date came closer i expected them to call and confirm (which i consider professionalism especially in this kind of business) but to my surprise i didn't hear back from them and reading some of the reviews here i took for granted that they will just show up as they had confirmed earlier however they never showed up. I waited for about 5 hours. I still don't regret doing it all myself but as a courtesy would expect them to have called ahead of cancellation or called later apologizing for not showing up it almost 5 days now and i still have not heard back from them.

If y'all want to be kept guessing on your move , if they are going to show up or not, i highly recommend M&M movers.…

The most professional movers ever. I had M&M Supermovers move my 5600 sqft house in westlake. The sent out Buck, Devo, Brian, and John who were just amazing. I did not think anyone could pack me and move me all in one day, but they did. The guys knew I was very anxious and nervous. They assured me everything would be moved all in one day, and promised me nothing would break. They kept their promise. Easily the most professional movers Ive ever used and also the fastest. AWFUL!!!!!!!. These movers were AWFUL! They messed up some of our stuff & then had their "repair" guy come fix our cherry wood with a BLACK color marker. They didnt care about our stuff because it wasnt theirs. They TRIED to shove my daughters WHOLE crib thru the door without even taking it apart...when asked why "It takes to much time to put back together." EXCUSE ME YALL ARE MOVERS!!!

The owner Chris has AWFUL customer service skills. All he does is give you the run around IF he is even in his office.

All in all this move was AWFUL!! Oh and I must not forget this. Chris had made an appointment to come look at our damaged good & he didnt even show up. We didnt even get a call saying he wasnt coming.

Made it easy Movers. We recently used M&M Moving for a family move from Austin to DFW. We were moving after 16 yrs. in Austin because of a job transfer. This was not something we were looking forward to. M&M made this much easier than we anticipated. Their process to price the move was easy and simple to understand. Would never recommend M&M Moving. Selected this moving company based on review on citysearch. They broke several items in the move. Some items beyond repair. I called repeatedly to file a claim, but only got a run around that I had to speak to the owner but he was never in. I left many messages for him but never got a return call. M&M also 'forgot' a part of their estimate on move day and made up prices that were much higher than the original estimate. I chose to move a lot of items myself to reduce the price but ended up paying a lot more than the estimate that included everything. I do not believe the reviews on this site for that company are all legitimate customers.…
