Not so Great!!
1 Star Rating: Not Recommended

I heard about this restaurant through the grapevine and I was really excited to try it out. It had all the right ingredients to be a spectacular restaurant..unfortunately it was everything but. The place it self is beautiful and very romantic although there are way to many tables and it's quite difficult for the servers to maneuver around the seats just to get to your table. We ate there on a tues night and even though it was pretty busy, the service was slow uncoordinated and frustrating. Their menu is really confusing and not very appeasing. We started with the Calamari which was way OVER cooked, salty and it really had no flavor at all. I proceeded to try the Tricolore salad again wayyy to bitter, nothing good about it at all. And for my entree I ordered what I figured would be the safest thing on the menu, the Marguerite Pizza and I was shocked- that to was not very good.. it had very little cheese on it and it was drenched in pesto sauce!! I really hope that they can work through their problems because it's a beautiful restaurant with soo much potential that I would just hate to see it go to waste..what a disappointment..

Pros: cute place

Cons: terrible food

We are sorry to hear that you found our restaurant not so great and our menu not appeasing. We think it is beautiful and romantic too. We were confused by your very harsh 1 star.Your hopes that we can solve our problems will be difficult with reviews like yours. Who would have known that a UT game could fill our just opened restaurant (Grand Opening Jan 26) on a Tues. Our food is not Olive Garden Italian. Our food is simple rustic trattoria Italian. Our margherita($9) has homemade mozzarella(little its true), San Marzano tomato sauce, extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil. Nothing else. It is made according to strict Italian DOP standards. Unfortunately, we think you must have received someone else’s pizza. Our semolina/polenta crusted calamari is very crispy and most think it is delicious. It’s true that the fresh picked Boggy Creek greens are very bitter(You really wouldn’t like our rappini!). The trecolore is a salad of 3 bitter greens oil/vinegar considered by some to be a classic.
