Goodbye migraines, Hello life!!

I was a sufferer of chronic migraines for about 5 years. I sought out relief from doctors through pain relieving medicine as well as preventative medicine up until about 8 months ago when I finally said enough is enough and quit taking my medication. I decided I was tired of being a medicine doll and suffering through the side-effects of prescription medicines causing loss of appetite, weight gain, increased pain or even being incapacitated from being medicated itself and just unable to function normally. Migraine headaches began to steal my life away from me. A typical week consisted of a migraine from Saturday through Monday, and on occasion I would have them on Fridays or Tuesdays as well. My life revolved around them, there were no breaks; every week was a migraine week.

After much discussion with friends and family, I decided to take a whole new approach to finding my cure. Google here I come. As I typed out Acupuncture in the search bar and began looking for places in my area to go, I was filled with hope from reading the testimonials on the pages I browsed. I thought to myself, even if I cannot be cured as so many of these people are, if I could just have one weekend a month back to myself I would be delighted.

In July I began my treatments. After the first treatment I had instant relief. I couldn?t believe that it actually worked right away as I had my first pain free weekend. I was excited and overjoyed that maybe, just maybe I would get my life back. I continued treatments as recommended in addition to other herbal recommendations as deemed necessary. In the past 5 months that I?ve been receiving acupuncture treatments, I have gone from migraines 3 days a week to 4 migraines in 5 months. I have had more energy and more restful sleep now than I remember having in many years. I have finally found my cure and acupuncture gave me my life back. For that I will be forever grateful.
