Best Price, Speedy Mobile Service

My 2007 Nissan Frontier took a stone to the front windshield the last week of January 2009. A colleague suggested Armadillo Glass to me; while I trust my colleague's opinions and recommendations, I also shopped around. On Saturday morning, January 31, 2009 I called Armadillo Glass around 8:30 AM to request a price quote. I did not realize that Armadillo was a mobile repair service; but, that only made it easier to replace my windshield. I had to be at work for most of Saturday, so, I had Armadillo meet me in the parking lot downtown. They were onsite around 9:30 AM and the windshield was good to go before 11 AM. I was impressed with the price and the service and would join my colleage in recommending Armadillo Auto Glass to others. I am very pleased.

Don't look anywhere else! Armadillo's the way to go

Armadillo Auto Glass makes it painless and stress free to have your windshield replaced. Greg came out to my house less than an hour after I called to replace my windshield and was done within 40 minutes! He's a very friendly guy, professional, and fast. I had gone almost a year with a giant split across the front of my windshield only to find out it would take an hour and a half from when I called to have it replaced. I should've done this months ago!

I recommend Greg as THE man to go to for windshield repair. Thanks Greg!!

Excellent work! Great price!

A little rock impacted on my 1-month old car while driving on I-35! It was a small chip, but the windshield had to be replaced. (Act quickly, sometimes you can fix it without replacing the whole windshield: look on-line on what are the requirements on having a quickly fixable chip).

I called around some auto glass places in San Antonio and Austin. Armadillo Auto Glass offered me the best price in Austin (don't forget to mention the coupon on this page!). The prices in San Antonio were a little cheaper.

The reasons I chose to do it in Austin instead of San Antonio were the following:

1. I had to drive all the way to San Antonio and back: Waste of time and gas.

2. What if they happend to do a poor job on the windshield installation in San Antonio and I realized about this when I was back in Austin? I would have had to go back to San Antonio!

So I decided to call Greg and set up an appointment. He went to my house and he was there on time. He was very nice and patient with my questions.

I had never seen anybody installed a windshield before, so I asked him if I could watch while he did it and he agreed. I really witnessed what an expert this guy is! Careful and precise with your car!...I could tell he really had a lot of experience doing this job!

I was happy to hear that he was from Austin. I was happy to support local business! If you have to replace a windshield, really, Greg is the person to call.

Awesome work!

Prices were comparable to all the other places we checked and service was great! We called them and within a couple hours they were out at our house replacing our front and back windshields in our own driveway. They also replaced my sister’s windshield all within 3 hours. Greg was very professional and did an excellent job keeping our inspection and registration stickers intact when he placed them on the new windshields. We were due to take a long trip and weren't sure if we were going to make it in time with a broken windshield. Armadillo glass eased our concerns. I definitely would recommend them too anyone needing glass repair on their car!

Fast service, great job, and decent price!

Had cracks on my 2001 Hyundai Tiburon from the 3/25 hail storm. Left a message to Greg in the morning and got a call back in 30 minutes, with a decent price quote. Once I confirmed, he came to my office within one hour with the new windshield, and did a professional installation with his partner Traverse in 30 minutes. No issues, no complaints, just a smooth and great job.

Will definitely recommend them to anyone else.

Can't be beat!

Greg came out himself for my job - two wndshields broken in the March 25th hailstorm. He was right on time, and a very personable young man. Both windshields were installed with no problems in an hour and a quarter. I priced 7 outfits - Armadillo was $50 less than Longhorn, and $250 less than the most expensive! Most of the shops wanted to give me new mouldings, which boost their profits - not necessary for my vehicles (they were totaled, but we're keeping them). If you've got a fancy car and the mouldings are damaged or showing their age, you might want to ask for new ones specifically - Greg won't gouge you for them. Good man, good work!

I walked out to the car this week and had the unfortunate realization that my back window had been used as some sort of pellet-gun target. It was entirely shattered--still intact, but shattered. I called several places that told me, because my car was a 1998 Trooper, they no longer sell the glass aftermarket and the cost from the dealer would be roughly $750. With the install, it increased to $888. I was shocked and deflated; I did not have anything close to this type of money to spend. Thankfully, I got an IM from a friend whom I'd told what had happened. The IM said: call this guy--Greg Kieke at Armadillo.

I have many things to say about Greg and Armadillo, and the one that tops the list is "outstanding." Greg not only called scrap yards for me, not only found one at a scrap yard, not only went way out to the sticks to pick it up in the early morning hours, not only came to my house in rush hour traffic, and not only installed it in less than an hour in cold weather, and not only had to take my rear tire and wiper off--he did it all with a smile, a laugh, and utmost professionalism.

I really can't recommend Greg and Armadillo enough. Saving me more than $500 is one thing (a big thing at that), but equally satisfying was that here was a genuinely good guy doing the work. By the way, Armadillo does not only auto glass, but they also do residential and commercial windows. And they have 24 hr emergency service. If you need any of that type of work done, call Greg. No doubt you will be very glad you did.

Friendly and all round best price

Greg came out and did a great job. They used OEM glass for my windshield replacement, which was my main concern. They were on time, and left the SUV clean. I will call them again if I ever need a new windshield and I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Excellent Service!!

I have never had to replace a windshield before and was nervous about the entire process but Greg made it quick an easy. He came to my house and showed up on-time. It only took 40 minutes. He replaced the entire windshield, saved my stickers and cleaned my car up! The car interior actually looked better after he left than before they got there!

Armadillo Auto Glass is the way to go hands down. I have had a number of automotive glass replacements in the last few years and Greg is by far the best. In addition to being the lowest price, Greg shows up on time (arrived a little early today), explains everything in detail, and does a super fast super high quality replacement. He even used a Ford piece of glass on my F150 today. So, if you want a great job done on time and for the lowest price you're going to find you need to call Greg and Armadillo auto glass.
