• Pros: Solved our IR remote problems with RF system
• Cons: Had trouble reaching them, but finally got through

Excellent sales and service

I feel fortunate to have called Lucas first because I got everything I asked for and so much more. Having talked to others, I know I got the best deal around. The installers were very professional and made sure everything was neat and tidy before leaving. I will definitely call them again and would, without hesitation, recommend them to anyone.

The Sound I had Wanted

If anyone is looking to have a system installed, you could not do better than Lucas. Not only is he a perfectionist, but he has a huge knowledge base on the subject matter of his business. He is professional, yet down to earth. He installed my whole system in 2 hours less than originally quoted, saving me money. Not only can he set anything up and get it installed, but the knowledge that you gain from him is a huge bonus to the price you pay.

In my opinion, you would be a fool to go anywhere but Austin Home System. I cannot wait to use them again for my bathroom!

Outstanding Services and Products

Lucas and his team at Austin Home Systems installed a custom sound system, including a flat screen television, in our home and outdoor living area. His service during the process and the overall result were exceptional. He helped us to create a great-sounding and great-looking system at a very reasonable price. I stopped counting the errors in equipment selection and installation I would have made had I tried to do this myself. His expertise is obvious. I will be contacting him for all future technology needs, and I would recommend him to anyone. Richard

Home Entertainment

Austin Home Systems just finished installing my home entertainment system,security cameras and a number of tv's in my new home and I could not be happier.Lucas is a very personable and professional young man and my wife and I were very impressed with his work. Lucas took the time to explain in detail how the system operates and told us to call anytime we had any questions. I would highly recommend Austin Home Systems to anyone that is in need of a home entertainment system and better yet they were THOUSANDS LESS than the other companies that bid on our project.

AHS Gave me the Coolest Electronic House

Lucas and his team provided planning, wiring and installation services for an 11, room, 6 source Audio and Video distribution system with Multiple Custom Programmed RF Remotes capable of controlling all components from anywhere in the house. additionally he and his team installed a home theater with projector and Screen utilizing both old and new components. Austin Home Systems were the absolutely most flexible team i have ever worked with, even coming out on Sundays when required, changing their schedule to fit mines from time to time and just sharing my vision, which allowed us to avoid major change. I need to add, Lucas and his team were working on this project in phases over 3 months - they always stayed in touch from Pre-wire through the final button being programmed on the remote, we even did business and planning over the phone while I was traveling internationally when issues arose. I am probably the most difficult customer Lucas has had, and I can tell you I never felt like I was a problem for him or his team.His prices were reasonable, and in some cases he matched prices that were still lower than his. Bottom Line - You want AHS on your AV project!

Great Job, Good Deal.

I got my TV (52" Samsung LCD) and installation for less than the cost of just the TV at Best Buy. The install was pretty cheap, I saved over $100 compared to the Best Buy price. If you want to save even more money get your cords and mounts from monoprice. Austin Home Systems will use whatever you have to install as long as it is compatible with the TV you get. They installed with all the cords hidden in the wall and the TV hanging above the fireplace for $215. They will asked me for payment for the TV in advance, which made my wife very nervous, but rest assured that everything went perfectly. They even went out to the warehouse to pick up my TV for me so I could have it installed on the day that they originally promised. Austin Home Systems is a great place and I highly recommend them! Timely installation, a great TV and a great deal... what else could I have asked for? Great job guys!

Ohh, How Easy It All Works Now!

With all the different devices installed on my tv, it had become such a mess to use. This remote for volume, that one to change channels, another one for a dvd, it was too complicated. I called up Austin Home Systems and they suggested I get a universal remote. They were able to have a technician out the next day to fix it all. He programmed the remote quickly, which looked complicated to do and then gave me step by step instructions on how it all works. Now one button turns everything on and one to turn everything off. It's all so simple. He told me to put all the other remotes in a drawer, that I wouldn't need them anymore. So that's exactly what I did. Thanks guys!
