AMAZING EXPERIENCE
by feedmeCmore
I came to 3 Graces for microdermabrasion as well as Prevelle filler for my lips. I was beyond impressed with the results of both procedures.
Margerite administered my microderm (something I've had done many times before at various spas). The results were the best I've ever had.
Michelle, the medical aesthetician, did an amazing job on my lip filler. I have had my lips done at APSI Skin Care many times before and gotten mediocre (sometimes lumpy, sometimes uneven) results. Not only is 3 Graces more affordable, they did a MUCH better job. SOOO glad I fould this place!!!
Very Rude!!!

I wish there was a way to give a negative star rating!
I had an appointment scheduled for 2 pm, received a call stating they were overbooked and had rescheduled my appointment for 130. I called and told them I would be late for the earlier appointment, was told no problem they would make it work.
Upon my arrival the rude esthetician told me she could not see me because I was terribly late. She then decided to treat me anyway. The 30 minute appointment took all of 10 minutes, not exactly what I thought I was paying for. The esthetician was rude and obnoxious the entire time I was there, actually made me cry with her rude attitude and constant humillliation.
I went to the spa to relax and be pampered, I went to my car very upset.
I will never go back, there are too many Spa's in Austin to deal with this kind of treatment. I can't believe I actually paid good money to treated so badly!!!
Who does Michelle think she is?
If you want a good treatment and a good esthetician, go absolutely anywhere else!!!
- Pros: Terrible esthetician, nice receptionist
- Cons: Very rude esthetician
Priscilla is an amazing masseuse.
by dkivel
I've had maybe 30 massages in my life, and this was definitely the best so far. This was my first time there, and Priscilla is an incredible masseuse. A friend came with me, Julie was her masseuse, and she said it was excellent. The rest of the experience was great: the space is beautiful, the guy at the entrance was nice, and they were generous with wine and baklavah before the service, and water afterwards. Even details like the massage oil - really high quality lotion that moisturized and wasn't greasy. I'm still tingling, and I'll definitely be back soon. Thanks!
- Pros: great service, easy parking, central location
There must be better spas in Austin...
by delaneydealba
I find it interesting that every time this spa has a negative review they respond by claiming that they never had appointments of that type when the reviewer was there and that they must be "confused with another spa". Hmm. Why not just admit mistakes??? The denial is childish and unprofessional, and hard to believe.
Anyway, I have been to 3 Graces a few times. After the second I decided that was the last time. I had a massage and eyelashes tinted. The massage was fine, I have no complaints about the masseuse, but I scheduled a 1/2 hr session and was instead given a 1 hour (yeah, I should have said something, but who can keep track of time during a massage?) then charged $120 for a pretty mediocre experience. My mistake.. The aesthetician that did my eyelashes was really rude. She left me alone with the dye on my eyelashes, then came back to check and asked me how I was. Of course, when I responded the dye got in my eyes and began to sting. She chastised me by saying, I told you not to talk! This is not the kind of experience you want when you go to a spa to relax and feel taken care of.
AND, the owner is pushy, condescending, and puts on a very un-genuine facade of niceness. Annoying and something I could do without in the future- there are lots of spas in Austin, I can find another!
- Pros: skilled massage staff
- Cons: Annoying and pushy owner, cluttered atmosphere, over-priced
Poor service
by izzychic
I arrived to my appointment for a simple wax. They didn't even know what I was there for and they didn't have the right person there to perform the service. After two hours of the owner waxing my legs she left the room and told me the esthetician would come in to finish. I waited 10 minutes and was ready to up and leave not to mention steaming mad when the owner came back in and said the other person wasn't available but to please come back the next day. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? She was a name dropper ( I am not easily impressed) She acted more like a carpet salesperson from Egypt than a proffesional business owner.
P.S. I had to go home to finish waxing my legs that were only half done.
- Pros: none
- Cons: all
Perfect, Just Perfect
by citygirl1976
I used to be a consistent client at another popular day spa in Austin, but one day my coworkers were raving about 3 Graces Spa, so I decided to give it a shot. The treatment I picked was the cranberry sugar scrub, followed by a 60 minute deep tissue massage using the same flavor. I have never felt so pampered. The massage therapist I was with was excellent, and the wine at the end was the icing on the cake. Having had recent knee surgeries the previous year I am always hesitant about switching over to a new therapist, but she was very cautious about my delicate areas, but also knew exactly where to dig in. The facility is fresh and clean, and A LOT more relaxed than some other spas in Austin. 3 Graces semms to capture the friendly and relaxed atmosphere I was looking for. They definantly have me hooked. I have given my friends gift certificates and got them hooked as well. Massages at 3 Graces Spa are a healthy and satisfying addiction!
- Pros: everything i've tried there has been perfect
- Cons: a little far from my house, but its sooo worth it

hold on to your wallet

I went to 3 graces for a chemical peel consult. I left being "consulted" on almost every procedure that they offer. I was insulted. Hold on to your wallet.
- Cons: pushy oversell
disorganized
by momlake
When I go to a spa I expect a calm atmosphere and a well informed staff. The space is cramped, supplies stacked everywhere and I felt like I was being passed around. What I got instead of informatuion on what I came in for was a sales pitch for more services. I have since been to another Spa, which I loved and told them about my experince at 3 graces and they said this isn't the first time they have heard complaints. I will never go back to 3 graces and am so happy I found a much better "true" medspa!!!
- Cons: cramped, but space situration, certainty not what you look for in a spa
I Loved it!!
by austingirl2008j
Wow is the only word to describe my experience at 3 Graces Spa. It was my first time to have a massage by a professsional and I felt like I needed it. The moment you walk in it creates a feeling of calmness. I was treated very well by the staff, they were all friendly and everything looked so serene. I definately recommend any newbie or veteran to this spa. keep up the amazing work!! I will be back soon!!
