Very Cute store with very cute items
by emilyowen33
This is a very cute store. I love all the clothing brands they carry. There is so much to choose from. The items are pricey, but that is what you get in a boutique. I don't see them up charging anything. Their prices are comparable to other local boutiques and Nordstrom’s. If you are looking for cheap items you will need to go elsewhere. I love this Boutique and the store owner is always sending out sale notifications and supports events happening around Austin.
- Pros: very cute hard to find brands
- Cons: my kids are getting too big for the items in this store
The owners go above and beyond!

My daughter and I have shopped Baby Bugaloo many times, as it's in her neighborhood. One time, we started talking to some friends who came in at the same time and left the gift we had chosen for a birthday party. That evening as we were unpacking the car, the owner drove up to bring the gift to us. She got the address from the credit card company and asked her husband to DELIVER it to us. No one does that sort of thing anymore. We've always been pleased with the selection and service. However, because it's small, there are sometimes just one or two in each size. Sales are great! Fun play area for the little ones.
- Pros: Small shop - not an overwhelming big store
- Cons: Limited sizes
Great store!

Love that this store opened up. Love the selection. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lots to choose from for babies, girls and boys.
- Pros: Great location to our home!
Overpriced
by MommaofTwo
I wouldn't get too attached to this store. The owner is so unorganized, it's only a matter of time before it goes under. Selection is ok, but I've been to better stores. Just because you've opened a store near Circle C, doesn't mean you can mark items up double what they're worth and think your store will make it. When I was there, a customer and a sales associate were standing behind the register messing around. I felt uncomfortable and didn't want to stay long. Good luck keeping the store open.
My favorite store!

This store is a wonderful addition to south Austin! It is so nice to shop where you can find unique items and something special for the kids to wear as well as beautifully wrapped gifts!
The service is friendly and professional!
Thank you!!!!!!
- Pros: Friendly service, location, unique clothing and gifts!
- Cons: Expect to pay a little more for specialty items
My FAVORITE baby boutique in Austin!
by Lovemybaby
Let me say, I LOVE this boutique. I was very excited that there was finally a boutiue close by. I have been there many many times and my infant daughter has several of their outfits, toys and accessories. When other reviewers say that Baby Bugaloo is pricey, I really disagree. Of course, they will not be chain store prices... but they are very reasonable as far as boutiques go and half the prices of other boutiques here in Austin (i.e. Oh Baby). Most boutiques have too much of other items and not clothing and Im glad that Baby Bugaloo has more clothing to choose from so I dont have to order it from different websites to get what I want! I dont think that the prices are NOT that much more than websites either. I search for items online frequently and, for example, was looking for an awesome tutu and matching top for my daughter's one year birthday. The original seller's website sold it only for $2 cheaper, so after shipping I would've paid more! AND it ws the cutest I could find anywehere (in stores or online). In addition, the clothing is better made and will last longer than a double priced garment for baby at another boutique. Also, some of the manufacturers dont even sell some of the items Baby Bugaloo has of theirs on their websites. The owner has been very friendly, and has expressed if there is something I am looking for but cannot find, that she will find it for me. I honestly can say that having been there so often, I have never seen her infant, however I wouldnt be offended as long as it didnt keep her from helping me. Thats what comes with a locally owned store...and if I can bring my baby I dont see why she wouldnt be able to bring hers so they can meet. I havent reaped the benefits of sales just yet, however they are having one this Friday. The owner sends periodic emails informing you of sales and events if you sign up as well. If you're looking for items for your child and not yourself, this is the perfect place.
- Pros: Friendly, close, wide selection
Best Children's Clothing in Town!!!
by LindiJill
A great shop for buying special outfits and other items for your little one! Because it is such good quality merchandise, it is more pricey than the big box stores! But well worth it! And you can catch great sales too! The staff is always friendly as well!
- Pros: Unique clothing - so much fun
- Cons: A little expensive - Can't buy it all :)
Will not shop here!
by Lbug
The owner of this store is VERY unprofessional! I do not see this store making it very long. The items that she purchases from local vendors she doubles in price!!! She isn't friendly at all. I don't have anything nice to say about this shop. There isn't anything original about it. You are better off finding the items she sells online for a lower price!
- Pros: n/a
- Cons: over priced!
Didn't meet my expectations
by peddymay
I must admit that I was really excited for this store to open. The sign was up for months before the doors finally opened. I assume that is at least partly due to the fact that the owner had a baby about the same time she was scheduled to open the store. Unfortunately, this store didn't really live up to my expectations. I think the owners would benefit from a trip to a really successful baby boutique like Giggle (in NY and San Francisco). Giggle is my go-to store for unique items for my two girls, as well gifts for my friends kids. When I visited Baby Bugaloo, the majority of their stock was clothes, and I was hoping for a more well-rounded selection of toys and baby gear. I definitely spend more money on toys and gear then I do on clothes -- although I do spend a fair amount on clothes and shoes for both of my girls. My husband stopped in their store by himself to check it out, and he said the owner's mother made him feel very uncomfortable -- as if he shouldn?t be shopping for our kids by himself. I also thought it was weird that the owner brings her infant to the store -- I assume that won't last too long since it will be hard to have a crawling infant in a baby store. I will probably stop back in this store to see if they improve with time. I don't mean to sound too negative since I do think they have a good idea going and I hope they are able to weather the bad economic times and stick around. I just didn?t think the other reviews of this store were very realistic. I think this store has a ways to go to be a huge success.
Look no further for the cutest kids clothes in town!

Just let me say what a breath of fresh air this boutique is---can you call it a boutique when the owner greets you, the staff is friendly, the customers are nice, and the merchandise is reasonable? I GUESS SO! Such unique finds and a relaxed atmosphere--there is even a play area for the little ones! I have three words for this place-FAB-U-LOUS! You won't be disappointed!
